INDIA | MONTH ONE

I feel lucky to say that I have spent one whole month with this beautiful individual I call my daughter. It still feels very odd using the words¬†my¬†daughter, but I’m sure I will get used to the idea soon. India’s first couple of weeks out of utero was a complete one big blur. I have vivid memories of constant feeding, changing and skin to skin. I found myself not eating as much as I should. BABY GIRL

So, I have a daughter. Her name is India Rose, born on Sunday 10th July 2016 at 03.06am. I know it has been a very long time since I have made a post on this blog but after my second trimester I felt as though there was so much to do in preparation for my baby. I overestimated how much little preparation is needed for a newborn baby, as first time mothers do. All they pretty much need is nappies, clean clothes, milk and a place to sleep.
